Job Search Tips:

  • Be general in your key words. For example, if you are searching for a project coordinator type of position, only put in "project." This will bring up project coordinator, project analysts, project specialists, and more. It will also bring up project manager roles that you may not be qualified for, but you won't miss out on any due to strange titles.
  • Try to find the position on the company's website itself. It may contain more information or you may also be able to find who posted the position and will be reading over the resumes.
  • Research the role, company, and if possible, the person accepting the resumes before you submit an application. Tailor your resume and cover letter to their culture and environment as much as possible.
